Toxin - Free Home

In today's consumer society, we observe that the lifespan of every item is decreasing, and new ones are replacing those that are still usable. Knowing that resources are rapidly depleting in the world reminds us that we need to think more and more about the idea of reusing every day. Starting from this point of view, our “Don't Buy, Produce.” project is 6 years old!
Within the scope of our project, where we produce new ideas about sustainable living every year, we organize various workshops and competitions at our school. We transformed the waste materials, repaired our old shoes, and learned how to sew our torn socks. We always aimed to make it a habit in our lives to think before buying, to be able to transform, reuse, and repair.
Within the scope of our “Don't Buy, Produce” project, we held a “Toxin-Free Home” parent workshop during the Saving, Investment, and Turkish Goods Week this year. We have prepared natural, non-toxic detergents as an alternative to the harmful chemicals inside the detergents we purchase.
While our parents developed their manual skills by creating natural detergents and reducing waste, they also adopted sustainable and eco-friendly habits.
