NÛN Social Studies Workshop
NÛN Social Studies Workshop has been completed on 15-16 January. It is a project designed by the efforts of our students, in line with their goals to enrich the world of ideas, coming together to share their interest and excitement in the field of social sciences. Our students carried out studies under the disciplines they were interested in for two days. During the event, we formed a productive environment aimed at developing various skills in our students. Apart from academic achievements, we focused on enhancing management and leadership skills, organizational skills, crisis management skills, public speaking and presentation skills, a sense of responsibility, and self-confidence.
A large number of our students showed interest in the NÛN Social Studies Workshop. In each committee established for studies of psychology, economics, philosophy, literature, and history, topics related to both the main issues of the disciplines and current issues were discussed.
During the NÛN Social Studies Workshop, there were discussion sessions, a poetry reading competition, and a salon program held at the closing. All of our students attended the closing program, and questions regarding the discussions of the committees during the day were directed to our valuable teachers in the fields of history, philosophy, and literature under the moderation of our 11th-grade student Salih Tuğra. On this occasion, it was aimed that our students who could not participate in the workshop would also get certain gains from the studies conducted.
