Our School Achieves CIS (Council of International Schools) Accreditation!

Following an extensive evaluation process, NUN Schools has been officially accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), confirming that our educational standards meet the highest international levels. This prestigious accreditation aligns with our ongoing commitment to student well-being, extensive teaching quality, and transcultural learning.
This rigorous assessment highlighted our strengths and also provided valuable insights into areas for continuous development. Viewing this as an opportunity for continuous growth, we plan to further enhance our teaching quality.
Founded in 1965, CIS is a non-profit organization holding the highest number of global memberships in international education. Its community spans over 1,530 schools and universities across 122 countries. CIS thoroughly evaluates schools across many crucial areas, including child safeguarding, teaching and learning processes, and corporate structuring.
This prestigious accreditation, achieved by only a limited number of schools in our country, is a significant indicator of NUN Schools' quality-oriented approach and our dedication to continuous improvement.
What is the Purpose of CIS?
- To ensure the school consistently seeks excellence at all stages of education,
- To guarantee the school offers a high-quality education and training program aligned with clearly defined goals and international standards,
- To ensure that the entire school community is aware of its strengths and weaknesses and perfects them in continuous development,
- To allow the school to compare itself with similar schools in the world and to test itself in a global environment.
What are the Benefits to the Institution and the Students?
- The inclusion of a school in CIS sends a very positive message about that school to people, educational institutions and universities at home and abroad,
- The self-evaluation report, which is meticulously prepared in accordance with the accreditation process, makes a very important contribution to the development of the school,

- This objective assessment by an authority outside the school generates many useful and constructive suggestions,
- The accreditation process provides an opportunity for the school to communicate with other schools around the world,
- The school can prepare plans as a result of the reports submitted by CIS to the school after the self-assessment study and examination visits, which are part of the accreditation process,
- All aspects of the school are adapted to high standards,
- Information about all aspects of the school is recorded in the computer environment,
- Members of the school community recognize their shortcomings and weaknesses and make a continuous effort to correct them,
- Everyone in the institution questions and evaluates himself and the institution.
What is Expected from a CIS School?
