Poetry Theater on the Theme of Palestine

Ben Filistin’im,
Sessizliğin sesiyim.
Tekbirlerin en cesaretlisiyim,
Mahşer gibi direnişlerin ta kendisiyim.
Kıskanılan bir kutsallığın hikâyesiyim.
I am Palestine,
I am the voice of silence.
I am the resistance itself,
I am the story of an envied divinity,
The most courageous Takbeers shouted.
NÛN High School Theater and Poetry Club took the stage with a captivating poetic drama that brought to life the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people. The play, titled "Sayın Yargıç Anlatacaklarım Var" (Your Honor, I Have Something to Say), was written by student Verda Hüma and includes poetry by student Miraç Berkan.
The play was about the lives of three generations united by shared suffering, seeking justice for the atrocities they endured through the International Criminal Court. The audience was brought to the heart of Palestine, where they felt the pain, unwavering hope, and spirit of resistance of the people.
The play served as a powerful call to action, urging the audience to stand in solidarity with their Muslim brothers and sisters against oppression and continue the boycott movement. It encouraged them to close their eyes, yet open their hearts, and listen to the echoes of Palestine's resilience.
