Family Academy - Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Dinç
We organize our Family Academies to support parents on gaining insight on their students and guide them acquiring the necessary knowledge, skills and resources for healthy growth. In this context, a program titled "Questions and Quandaries of Parenthood" was held by Assoc. Prof Mehmet Dinç.
He answered the questions on different topics, for example, the importance of showing sensitivity when teaching children world history and the history of their land to ensure accurate learning and avoid misinterpretations, that they learn first our language and then the foreign language well, and how children's sense of belonging to different groups will be assessed.
This program conduced parents to gain information about the extent to which they should guide their children, how to overcome distraction, and what are their basic duties as parents.
