Sourdough Ramadan Pide Making Parent Workshop

Primary school parents gathered for a sourdough Ramadan pide-making workshop. They learned the patient process of preparing traditional Turkish Ramadan pide dough with natural and healthy ingredients, including the benefits of sourdough and fermentation techniques.
While the dough fermented, parents discussed the values of sharing and collaboration. The event also emphasized the importance of healthy nutrition and the significance and barakat of food prepared with care at home. During the workshop, participants experienced the value of patience, labor, and solidarity as they discovered the art of bread making.
The event fostered a deep sense of Ramadan blessings and communal warmth, contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage and strengthening community bonds. The pide bread they created together carried not only the taste of their labor but also the spirit of unity and togetherness.
