Interview With Ümit Meriç
Prof. Dr. Ümit Meriç came together with students for a talk titled "Ways of Learning About the Past" at NUN Schools. Sharing her valuable insights on the importance of learning and methods for accessing accurate information, Ümit Meriç also emphasized the indispensable place of critical thinking and research skills. By recounting memories of her father, Cemil Meriç, she presented different perspectives.
Throughout the talk, our students understood the importance of researching history from multiple sources and using the past as a roadmap for building the future.
