Historical Peninsula Of Istanbul Trip

A trip to the Historical Peninsula, where magnificent buildings and historical monuments are accepted as the old city of Istanbul (Old Town), was carried out.
After the morning walk in Gülhane Park, students were informed about the history and architecture of the cistern by visiting the Basilica Cistern, which has been reopened with its renewed face. The trip continued with visits to the Sultan Ahmet Mosque and the square, and a short apple tea break was taken at the Turkish Hearts. After visiting the Çorlulu Ali Pasha Madrasa and Beyazit Sahaflar Bazaar and Beyazit Mosque located on the sightseeing route, the last stop of the trip was the unique view of the historical peninsula.
During the Historical Peninsula trip, students had the opportunity to get to know the historical and cultural riches of Istanbul closely. Students who visited different historical buildings learned about these structures and made a connection with the past. In addition to experiencing the atmosphere of historical places, they also witnessed the daily life in Istanbul.
