Silent Theater
Members of the Basic Sign Language Club operating in NÛN Schools signed an unforgettable event at the Friday prayer time at the girls' middle school today after preparing for that day for a year. Students wrote and performed a show called "Silent Theater" which was showcased in basic sign language.
In this special initiative, our students aimed to draw attention to the difficulties that hearing-impaired individuals face in their daily lives and to create awareness among their friends. With the theater play they staged, students revived the experiences of hearing-impaired individuals and ensured that the audience had an emotional experience.
