Rami Library Trip

To encourage reading habits and increase access to information among students, NÛN Middle School organized a tour of Rami Library for the ones who borrowed the most books from our library during the 2023-2024 academic year. The tour was held as part of the 60th Library Week celebrations.
Students who participated in this tour had the opportunity to explore the resources offered by the library. They learned about various materials such as books, digital resources, magazines, e-books, and audiobooks. They also interacted with library staff and gained valuable skills in catalog use, research techniques, and information access.
Students experienced the historical texture of the Rami Library and had the opportunity to see historical artifacts in situ. They examined with interest many objects and tools inspired by living creatures in this library, and then experienced the machine models invented by al-Jazari. The rarest section of this library is the Manuscript Works Exhibition Hall. Students found the chance to observe unique works of our history and literature. They had the opportunity to see the Baby Library and Children's Library, Special Library, Manuscript Works Library, and Atatürk Special Libraries within the Rami Library.
