POSITIVE BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT - FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM
A Positive Behavioral Support Family Education Program was held with Dr. Tamer Karakoç of Gazi University for NUN Primary School parents.
In the program, it was mentioned to our parents that many of the reactions given without thinking when faced with the negative behaviors of the children will reinforce this behavior and the consequences. It was stated that while positive behaviors were never talked about, negative behaviors could trigger emotions such as anger and hatred in the child when they were constantly mentioned. Karakoç gave our parents as homework to be observant this week and be careful not to act critically towards children. Dr. Tamer Karakoç answered the questions of our parents openly in the program, which took place with the intense participation of our parents.
