ORIENTEERING AT NUN CAMPUS
ORIENTEERING AT NUN CAMPUS
We read the book titled "Haritada Kaybolmak" with our 5th grade students as part of the Social Studies lesson. The book is about the adventures of two brothers based on their mapping skills. Inspired by this book, we organized the "Orienteering at NUN Campus", in which our students used their research skills, scanned the encyclopedia and made map analysis.
They tried to find the right way with the routes they created by answering the riddles written for certain areas of the campus. They enjoyed the event by answering the questions prepared based on the content of the book on the determined routes.
The flow of activity continued as our students completed the sketch of NUN Schools with a puzzle. In the reflective thinking session held after the puzzle was completed, the activity was finished by making a written and oral evaluation of the book and the activity.
