NUN FAMILY ACADEMY
We hosted Prof. Dr. Zeki Bayraktar at the Family Academy, where we bring together valuable guests and our parents every month.
Prof. Dr. Bayraktar shared his deep knowledge and experience on sexual identity and development in children with our parents. Our parents, who had read Bayraktar's book titled İnterseks-Hermafrodit ve Eşcinsel previously, had the opportunity to ask their questions about the book during the program. Zeki Bayraktar, who stated that the ages between 1-6 is very important in the formation of a child's sexual identity, said that “Families have very important duties in order to complete this process in a healthy way. He also added that "We need to raise boys like boys and girls like girls.” Zeki Bayraktar, who stated that the basis of homosexuality lies in the broken family dynamic, shared with the parents that the active participation of the father in the process is of great importance and that maternal affection should not be exaggerated while raising children. After the question and answer session, the program ended with the presentation of a gift by our PCG Teacher Ahmet Kaya to our guest.
