From Books to Art Parent Workshop
NÛN Schools organized a special event bringing art and literature together with a workshop "From Books to Art" for parents. In the workshop, participants interactively read Kobi Yamada's “Maybe” just to find a part of themselves on each page and reflect on what their “maybe” is on their unique journey.
The activities are built upon the quote from the book "Wherever you go, take your hopes, pack your dreams, and never forget - it is on journeys that discoveries are made." Inspired by this idea, parents took notes on their life journeys. Following a period of deep reflection, they delved into the art of calligraphy, using it to visually express the beauty of the Noble Quran, our guiding light.
The workshop allowed parents to explore their artistic skills and express themselves. At the same time, they have strengthened their attachment to our cultural heritage by connecting with traditional arts such as Calligraphy.
