Initiative Academy Program

For the first time this year, the NÛN High School Initiative Academy, in collaboration with the Student Council, hosted its inaugural Academic Symposium Program, themed "Speed and Trace: From Consumption to Production." Academicians from diverse universities and university students who are alumni of our school contributed to the program. Additionally, students from various high schools across Istanbul participated as researchers and debaters.
Young people convened in committees formed under the Management Sciences, Science and Technology, and Art and Social Sciences tracks, where they freely expressed their opinions in workshops, engaged in robust discussions, and presented their academic articles. The program was entirely hosted by our students. In addition to the symposium, participants enjoyed a fun time and won awards in various events and competitions organized in the fields of sports, art, and technology.
The academic symposium, which spanned two days, concluded with an awards ceremony held after a captivating concert performed by the NÛN High School Orchestra.
Through this symposium, our students achieved valuable gains in generating ideas, conducting research, developing written and oral expression skills, fostering interdisciplinary thinking, and working collaboratively. They also had the invaluable opportunity to connect with their peers from different schools to exchange ideas and share learnings.
