Emotional Resilience For Parents: Navigating The Storm With Peace Parent Workshop
On April 21, 2025, our Middle School PCG Unit hosted a parent workshop titled "Emotional Resilience for Parents: Navigating the Storm with Peace" for parents of 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students.
During this workshop, participants focused on the emotions that influence parents' interactions with their children. Emotions were explored through sharing-based activities and diverse perspectives. The event provided an invaluable opportunity for parents to reconsider their parenting behaviors and to connect with others who share similar experiences.
The workshop aimed to develop emotion regulation skills, strengthen communication with children, and enable more constructive reactions during stressful moments. The active participation of parents fostered both individual and community-based awareness regarding effective coping with emotions.
