Beykoz Glass and Crystal Museum
NÛN Primary School third-grade students visited Beykoz Glass and Crystal Museum in connection with the "Sharing the Planet" unit. Our students found the opportunity to observe how glass has been shaped from past to present and how it has been interpreted in different cultures through the works exhibited by the museum. Together with the rich and colorful history of Turkish glass art, they were able to trace the European glass.
In the workshop we held at the museum, our students had the chance to experience the intricacies of making beads from glass step by step. Having discovered the importance of art and handicrafts, our students have also developed an awareness of protecting and protecting the cultural heritage we have inherited.
