Academicians In The Class
Prof. Dr. Elif Nuroğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the Turkish-German University, met with our high school students and delivered a presentation titled “Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, and Circular Bioeconomy.” In her presentation, Prof. Dr. Nuroğlu addressed the effects of these concepts on the global economy and the opportunities they provide for a sustainable future, conveying these innovative approaches to our students with concrete examples.
In the second part of the program, she answered our students’ questions about bioeconomy, strengthening information sharing in an interactive environment. Our students’ active participation and creative questions fostered a deeper awareness of future economic models.
Students who have project designs in bioeconomy or who wish to conduct comprehensive studies on this subject are offered an opportunity in the scope of the program: Prof. Dr. Nuroğlu arranged a meeting for these students to connect with university students and academics.
The program not only inspired our students in the field of bioeconomy but also provided an opportunity to reinforce their critical thinking and innovative thinkin skills in line with global sustainability goals. Since it adopted an interdisciplinary approach, it made a significant contribution to supporting our students’ academic development and guiding their career goals.
