58TH LIBRARY WEEK ACTIVITIES
58TH LIBRARY WEEK ACTIVITIES
“JOURNEY OF A JOURNAL” WITH MUSTAFA AKAR
Within the scope of the 58th Library Week activities, we learned by listening to all the stages from the formation of a journal to its publication in our “Journey of a Journal” event with Mustafa Akar, which we held with our Prep, 9th and 11th grade students. While the author touched on important points about writers and authorship in his interview, he made our students have a pleasant time with his interesting stories.
“ABOUT BOOKS” WITH DOĞUKAN İŞLER
Another event organized within the scope of the 58th Library Week activities was our interview with Doğukan İşler on “About Books” with the participation of our middle school students. Our students learned the concept of "editorship" with İşler's eye-opening and informative lecture. They enjoyed the writing and publishing stages of a book and the journey of a magazine. The students, who asked the questions they were curious about, listened to the interesting stories of the author about the books.
