Parent Workshop | Kimchi Workshop - A Journey To Healthy Living With The Power Of Fermentation

The Kimchi Workshop, held with the participation of NÛN Schools parents, offered an enjoyable learning experience focused on cultural discovery and healthy eating. The preparation process of kimchi, one of the important fermented foods of traditional Korean cuisine, was practiced step-by-step by the participants throughout the workshop. The preparation of the cabbage, the mixing of ingredients, and the basic stages of the fermentation process were carried out together, allowing them to experience the production process.

The program aimed to instill healthy habits by offering parents alternatives and practical methods to support the continuation of the healthy living philosophy adopted at our school within the home. Through the workshop, parents had the opportunity to produce together, discover cultural diversity, gain awareness about healthy eating, and improve their culinary skills.
