THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S INTERNATIONAL AWARD TURKEY PROGRAM
THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S INTERNATIONAL AWARD TURKEY PROGRAM

Our school is the award centre that implements The Duke of Edinburgh International Award Programme. As part of the program, our 13 Bronze Participants complete their Adventurous Journey. During the 2 days and 1 night camp, they realize their purposeful activity plans by walking 24 kilometers and staying in tents. Our students who complete the 6-month Bronze program will participate in the Silver and Gold program. In the Bronze program, students excelled in the categories of community service, skill development, physical development, and adventure.
With this camp, they also gained skills such as using a compass, reading maps, finding directions, setting up tents, trekking, and purposeful activities.
