Being an International Student at NUN Schools
Being an International Student at NUN Schools
Attaching importance to cultural diversity and international unity, NUN Schools welcomes international students from around 20 different countries every year. NUN Schools which sets out with the aim of improving the world and raising good people implements the IB Program, an international education system. In this education system, it is aimed to raise individuals who question, express themselves, and progress towards their goals with confidence. With the aim of raising individuals who believe in the importance of different perspectives and care about intercultural communication, NUN Schools offers its students an education model in accord with this purpose. In this model, both English and Turkish differentiation studies are carried out for international students to receive a higher quality education. In primary school, bilingual lessons are provided. Helping our international students to overcome the adaptation process successfully, the International Student Office works to solve all our students' academic and social problems.
Supplementary Turkish lessons are given to international students at NUN Schools where Turkish is the native language. In addition, differentiation trainings are provided for international students to learn Turkish faster and more accurately. In middle school and high school, course materials are translated into English so that students can better understand the lessons. In addition, English subject review booklets are prepared so that students do not fall behind from the lessons. Special booklets are made especially for international students in primary school so that they can adapt to school faster. Moreover, assignments are planned in English, the common language of instruction.
NUN Schools does not only focus on the lessons of the students, but also takes care to create an environment where international students can experience their customs and traditions with the activities organized. These events are held in a way that motivates international students, reflects positively on their lessons, and can be attended by all our students and teachers. Thus, our international students can easily adapt to the school environment and focus better on their lessons.
International student admission continues at NUN Schools, which offers education opportunities to students from 20 different countries every year. You can apply to NUN Schools to gain an international experience in Istanbul, the cradle of different cultures.
