Traditional Founder Meetings Held at NÛN Schools

Mr. Berat Albayrak, Founder of the NÛN Foundation for Education and Culture, met with high school students as part of the annual Founder’s Gathering, held at the beginning of the academic year. Following opening remarks by High School Principal Ahmet Elmas, Mr. Albayrak responded to students’ questions and shared reflections on world affairs, historical consciousness, technology, and ethical principles.
He emphasized that meaningful choices gain value through sincere intention and careful respect for the rights of others, noting that the NÛN Foundation for Education and Culture is rooted in a genuine commitment to serving people. He underlined that the moral values, character, and civilizational awareness cultivated at NÛN Schools constitute one of the strongest foundations for navigating future challenges.
Addressing a world transformed by technology and artificial intelligence, he highlighted self-discipline, sound judgment, conscience, and good character as the qualities that will truly distinguish individuals. He also encouraged students to protect their capacity for independent thinking amid the growing influence of social media and digital platforms. Reflecting on current global developments, particularly the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Palestine, he emphasized the importance of evaluating events through the lenses of history, justice, and ethical responsibility.
Students left with valuable insights into leadership, responsibility, and the role they will play in shaping the future, as Mr. Albayrak said, in a world where both East and West are undergoing profound change. The inspiring gathering concluded with a group photograph on the stage.
