Lessons Completed at NUN Digital Summer School!
With the Digital Summer School program that we launched in July, young people had the chance to experience the future today.
260 students from many different schools at high school level attended the digital program and they chose the courses they needed for their personal development among 17 different branches and experienced the introductory courses to undergraduate education. Thus, young people had the opportunity to meet many new people and discover their talents while preparing for life and undergraduate education.
63 hours of online courses were held by 18 different instructors from world-renowned universities and institutions such as Academician Dr. Ahsen Utku, ETI founder Sara Minkara, Communication professional Ali Saydam, TRT Speaker Mennan Şahin.
Chef Çiğdem Seferoğlu, one of the trainers, said, “It was so much fun for me to be an exemplary role model for career selection and career planning and to convey the value of giving importance to the mission rather than the difficulties of the profession. Thank you very much." Dr. Furkan Eris said, “Thank you for including me in the program. The excitement of the young people made me very happy. I saw that the young generation is going to become at good places. "
NUN Schools Board Member Prof. Tamer Yılmaz said, “With the digital summer school program we have created, we aimed to support students in their personal development, to help them discover their skills and capacities, and to shape their future decisions for students to make undergraduate applications. We tried to include branch you can think of such as artificial intelligence, genetics, leadership, gastronomy, communication. Thus, the students gained a unique experience by getting answers from the first and the most equipped sources to all the questions they were curious about during the lessons.”
