NÛN Family's Forest Rejuvenation Enters A New Phase

The ongoing rejuvenation efforts in the forest area surrounding our school have progressed to a new stage. Following detailed assessments, we have begun planting saplings intended to strengthen the overall forest structure. The focus is on planting long-lived species, primarily oak, which are well-adapted to the region’s specific climate and soil composition.
By involving our students in the sapling planting process, the initiative has gained significant educational depth. Students have been able to actively experience this crucial step toward ensuring the forest area will be healthier, more resilient, and more diverse in the future. Their active role in planting the saplings fostered direct contact with nature and supported the development of their relationship with the forest ecosystem.
Through this initiative, our students gained environmental consciousness, strengthened their understanding of sustainability, and increased their awareness of the ecosystem cycle.
