Trip to Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden

To observe seasonal changes in nature firsthand, our kindergarten students visited the Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden. As spring brought renewed vitality to the natural environment, students explored various plant species and observed the flowering stages of trees.
By engaging with soil and plant textures, students developed sensory awareness of how ecosystems function and questioned the effects of seasonal transitions on living organisms. This field experience transformed classroom knowledge into lived learning, fostering early awareness of environmental responsibility and establishing a strong foundation for nature conservation consciousness. This activity supported the introduction of core values at an early age and helped children live by them, providing a vital foundation for character development.
