ISLAMIC HISTORY READINGS 1
Within the scope of our Family Academy, we held the first of our Islamic History Readings program, which we will organize with Assoc. Prof. Nihal Şahin Utku on a monthly basis, with the title "An Overview of the Pre-Islamic World History".
In the program where we met with Nihal Şahin Utku at Marmara University Faculty of Theology, she emphasized that it is very important to combine the History of Islam with the life of the Messenger of Allah and that his life should be a part of our lives.
How to describe the Messenger of Allah within the framework of history? What happened in the history of the world until the prophethood of the Messenger of Allah? How was the social structure? How were people treated? What did the Messenger of Allah mean for all humanity? These were among the questions she answered in our program.
Finally, she explained with the following words of our Prophet that the Messenger of Allah led a very modest leadership in his age and pursued his cause to the end. “Even if they put the sun in my one hand and the sun in the other, I will not give up on this cause.”
The program was completed with the intense interest of our parents and the question and answer session.
