World Arabic Language Day Activities

On the occasion of World Arabic Language Day, a program was organized to showcase that Arabic is not a language used for communication but also a reflection of a deeply rooted culture, aesthetics, and civilization. Arabic songs played during breaks familiarized students with the articulation of the Arabic language. Qur’an recitation, Arabic hymns, poetry readings, and a theatrical play in Arabic were performed on our school auditorium stage.
An engaging Arabic Kahoot Quiz reinforced vocabulary and language cognition in a fun setting, with prizes awarded to top performers. Lunch and afternoon treats included authentic dishes from Arab cuisine to highlight the connection between language and daily life. The program enabled students to explore the richness of Arabic, fostering an appreciation for the inseparable bond between language and culture and promoting tolerance and sensitivity toward diverse cultures.
