Observing the Sun with the Astronomy Club

Members of the High School Astronomy Club gathered at the observatory to explore the structure of the Sun and examine celestial movements.

Students actively participated in opening the observatory dome, setting up and aligning the telescope, and learning about the functions of solar filters and specialized lenses. Through direct observation, they examined the Sun’s photosphere and observed sunspots. Combining scientific inquiry with reflection on the order and harmony of the universe, the activity helped students develop observation skills, scientific discipline, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
