Yahya Efendi Children’s Library Visit

This week, our Elegance Club students visited the Yahya Efendi Children’s Library. Library officials provided information about the building’s history, book collections, and activities. This enlightening visit helped our students understand that libraries are not only for storing books but are also cultural centers that bring people together.
After participating in some activities, the students visited the Yahya Efendi Tomb and prayed for themselves and their brothers and sisters in oppressed regions. After Zhuhr prayer, they took photos with the Bosporus scenery as a backdrop before returning to school.
The event reminded our students of the importance of cultural and spiritual values while allowing them to spend time together and strengthen their teamwork skills. In addition, visiting a historical site increased the students’ interest in the past and strengthened their awareness of their cultural heritage.
