Wooden Stories: Class 5D Blends Writing with Craft

As part of differentiated learning activities, Class 5D students participated in the “From Wood to Story” workshop, experiencing an interdisciplinary blend of literature and craftsmanship. Students prepared materials by cutting and sanding wooden blocks, engaging in a hands‑on crafting process.
Working in groups of four, students constructed a shared plot—introduction, development, conflict, and resolution—by inscribing these stages onto wooden blocks. Through this unique integration of visual narration and storytelling techniques, students transformed their “Wooden Strip Stories” into tangible outcomes. The workshop notably strengthened students’ plot‑building skills and allowed them to experience literary processes through alternative materials.
