Boğaziçi University Alumni Association (BURA) Visit to NÛN Schools

A program for institutional introduction and career planning was held for university students as part of a visit organized by the Boğaziçi University Alumni Association (BURA). The session presented NÛN Schools’ educational philosophy, mission, and strategic goals—fostering meaningful interaction between school culture and university settings.
During the professional segment, the Human Resources & Strategic Planning Directorate shared insights on recruitment for internships and full‑time roles, interview techniques, and evaluation criteria. Since the majority of participants were students from education faculties, guidance was offered on internship applications, job placement processes, and career planning within the field of education. This allowed university students to gain a closer understanding of the professional dynamics and expectations of the education sector.
In the academic exchange, leaders from Middle School Mathematics and the High School Vice‑Principal’s Office presented on academic processes and IB (International Baccalaureate) Programme. Teacher candidates who interned with NÛN Schools shared their field experiences, discussing how pedagogical theory meets practice. In the Q&A session with Human Resources and Strategic Planning, participants’ questions about institutional structure were addressed transparently, raising awareness and offering clarity.
In the final section, the Career Center Directorate provided information on the unit’s operations, university‑preparation strategies, and higher‑education guidance. Enriched by both human resources and academic perspectives, the visit offered a mutually inspiring environment for sharing and learning. Concluding with warm wishes, the program served as a valuable experience illuminating the professional pathways of future educators.
