Say No To Apardheid Protest
NÛN Schools Students, Teachers, and Staff Stage Protest in Solidarity with Palestine. In a powerful display of solidarity, the NÛN School Community organized a campus-wide walk accompanied by chants to raise awareness about the ongoing oppression of Palestinians.
The program commenced with the community gathering in the designated areas for each level. Afterward, they all started the walk at the same time, converging at the school's grass pitch where students performed the traditional Dabke dance in support of Palestine, followed by an oratory presentation. To highlight the injustices faced by Palestinians, especially Palestinian kids, the report cards of the students martyred during the conflict were announced. Then, Merve Gülcemal made a moving and impactful speech where she called for an end to the oppression in Palestine and the establishment of justice.
The protest became a platform to express empathy and solidarity with the people of Palestine.
