The guest of the NUN Meetings was Yücel Arzen whose music is the product of a fresh tradition, who renews the cultural codes of our civilization with his compositions, and guides our emotional world with his notes. Arzen shared with us his motivation while writing poems and composing songs in which we find a piece of our own land, heart and soul. Our guest responded to Mehmet Akif's call "Fear Not" with his work the Century of Turkey and said "We are not afraid", and explained his references while preparing this work.
Yücel Arzen, who inspired our students and teachers and conveyed his voice to our hearts, turned his notes into sound with two of our students after the question and answer session.
