Trıp To Yıldız Palace
On this trip, which is the continuation of the Topkapı Palace trip we did last year, our students observed the similarities between the two palaces. During our trip, which coincided with the unfortunate day of Sultan Abdülhamit II's dethronement, we commemorated Sultan Abdülhamit II by examining the internal and external threats to Ottoman Empire where the incident took place. We discussed that our state culture is too deep to fit in 100 years, with narratives emphasizing the continuity of the state, through examples and symbols. We walked a long distance in the palace garden, which appeals to our hearts with its landscape.
