Green Crescent (Yeşilay) Visit

A study visit was organized to the Green Crescent (Yeşilay) Headquarters to strengthen students’ sense of social responsibility and introduce healthy living practices from an institutional perspective. The program was attended by student representatives selected from each grade level and included a comprehensive training process on Yeşilay’s historical development, areas of activity, and volunteer‑based social impact models.
During interactive sessions, students received expert‑led information on addiction prevention and healthy living strategies. As a core pedagogical outcome of the visit, participating students will deliver peer‑education presentations in their classrooms in the coming week. This approach, centered on multiplying knowledge through sharing, aims to spread learning outcomes across the school and build strong, school‑wide awareness.
Supported by field observation alongside theoretical learning, the visit contributed meaningfully to students’ leadership skills and their development as socially conscious individuals.
