"Seven Beautiful Children" Poetry Book Met Its Readers!

Our middle school students marked another art-filled year! They crafted their words, writing five different poems, and seven of these talented students had their poems featured in the second issue of the "Seven Beautiful Children" magazine.
We gathered with our students and their families for a special event organized to celebrate this meaningful endeavor. The meeting was led by the Turkish Department. Students first recited poems by the renowned "Seven Beautiful Men" (Yedi Güzel Adam), then read their own poems aloud.
A question-and-answer session followed, where students explained to their peers how they began writing and the inspirations behind their work. The session was particularly moving and unforgettable for our community, as parents also shared their feelings and thoughts.
At the conclusion of the event, our young poets held an autograph session, signing their poetry books for friends, teachers, and families.
This event allowed our students to deepen their connection with literature and boost their self-confidence. Moreover, these special moments shared with teachers and families strengthened our community awareness by fostering a culture of collective learning and creation.
