Foundatıons Trıp

The first stop on the Foundations Trip with our 11th grade students was Fatih Mosque. After the mosque visit, the Tomb of Mehmed the Conqueror, Sahn-ı Seman Madrasa, and the graves of Mehmet Emin Saraç and other important people in the graveyard were visited. Our second stop was the Şehzade Mosque and the tomb of Sezai Karakoç. After the introduction of the mosque and Sezai Karakoç, the Süleymaniye Mosque, the Tomb of Suleiman the Magnificent, the tombs of Mimar Sinan and Mehmet Zahit Kotku were visited, and information was given about their services. Afterwards, the Ekmekçizade Complex in Vefa was visited and the activities of the İlim Yayma Foundation and the contributions of the complex to scientific life from the past to the present were discussed. This trip was made in order to introduce important people who were examples to the concepts such as guidance, ihsan, ikhlas, sirat al-mustaqim and good deeds in the "Some Concepts from the Quran" unit in the Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge course curriculum, and the desired acquisitions were achieved.
