PYP Group Visit to the Turkish Green Crescent Society Headquarters

Our PYP exhibition group, working on the project “Game Over: Decolonization in Toys,” visited the Turkish Green Crescent Society Headquarters. During the visit, students met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dinç, President of the Green Crescent and a teacher at our school, to reflect on the project’s conceptual framework.
The meeting aimed to support students in developing a more critical, reflective, and original perspective on play and toy culture—integral elements of daily life. Discussions focused on the impact of toys on mental processes and the notion of cultural independence. This academic exchange helped students broaden their perspectives and further internalize social responsibility within their inquiry.
