Turkish Proverbs and Idioms Festival
Organized by the Middle School Turkish Department, the “Silent Idioms and Proverbs Exhibition” offered students a unique learning experience where language was interpreted not only through words but also through visual and conceptual expression. Across different grade levels, idioms and proverbs were creatively integrated with art, allowing students to take on both exploratory and productive roles.
Through these works, the expressive power, associative richness, and cultural depth of the Turkish language were brought to life. The interactive exhibition supported students’ ability to interpret language, construct meaning, and generate original ideas while strengthening their awareness of Turkish as a cultural heritage.
