“Turkic World Cultural District” Field Trip

Organized by the Middle School Social Studies Department for grade 6 students, this learning trip invited our students to examine the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic World on site. By observing authentic artifacts and objects from Turkish‑Islamic history, students strengthened their historical awareness.

Throughout the trip, they explored how early Turkic states contributed to our civilization and analyzed the intellectual legacy of the 7th–13th centuries in fields such as education, science, law, culture, art, and architecture. This outdoor learning environment encouraged students to realize the values of common heritage of humanity.

Blending visual and spatial inputs with theory reinforced chronological thinking and a sense of cultural continuity, supporting the development of a broad, civilizational perspective. This activity contributed development of a deep-rooted civilization concept, alongside its academic achievements.
