Turkish‑German University Conference

Grade 10 and 11 students attended a lecture at Turkish‑German University delivered by the distinguished academic Prof. Crespo Cuaresma entitled “The Past and Future of Economic Growth and Poverty.” The session offered an academic lens on macroeconomics, global economic dynamics and development models.
Students analyzed the multi‑layered relationships among growth, inequality, and sustainable development, engaging with current data that supports studies in business and economics. Such experience deepened the students' perspectives on global issues, supporting the academic achievement goals in their business management course.
Students' critical thinking processes have been supported and their ability to look at universal problems with a scientific approach has been strengthened. This university‑level experience strengthened students’ capacity to understand, chain knowledge and interpret complex macroeconomic structures, and broadened their higher‑education horizons.
