The Social Studies Department organized the “Ottoman Culture and Civilization” talk, to help students learn about the Ottoman Civilization from reliable sources and develop into individuals with a strong historical consciousness, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mehmet İpşirli.
During the talk, the was discussed with Prof. Dr. Mehmet İpşirli discussed the Ottoman cultural and civilizational, providing extensive knowledge for our students’ historical accumulation. The students’ questions provided a valuable opportunity to deepen their historical awareness and enhance their critical thinking skills. The historical anecdotes and explanations shared by the professor contributed to the students’ developing a sound and accurate understanding of Ottoman Civilization.
The meeting enabled students to broaden their historical perspectives, consider historical events from various viewpoints, and better comprehend the link between the past and the present.
