Uzbekistan Trip

We are continuing our Sefer-i NÛN trips, which we have organized to see different geographies, discover new cultures, and support our students' individual and academic development in the 2025-2026 academic year.
The first route was Uzbekistan, which has vital importance in history, where the great scholars of Islam, including Ibn Sina and Imam Bukhari, grew up. We set out to witness the history, science, and art in this geography, where many people used to go to learn science. Our trip started with arrival to Tashkent from Istanbul. We continued with city tours of Samarkand and Bukhara, a bus ride across the Kyzylkum Desert to Khiva, and a city tour of Khiva. We visited historical and cultural treasures such as the Registan Square, the tomb of Imam Maturidi, and the oldest mosque in Bukhara, as well as various madrasas.
The tour, which aimed to contribute to the development of our students by allowing them to experience the life, culture, and history of different parts of the world, also provided students with the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of wise people who studied in these unique lands.
