FOREST WEEK
FOREST WEEK
NUN Primary School celebrated Forest Week and the arrival of spring with activities organized in cooperation with Science teachers.
Our students visited various stations prepared with the theme of spring and performed activities where they could feel the sparkle and vitality of spring accompanied by bird sounds. They brought their potatoes that they had previously germinated at home and planted. By collecting the seeds of the fruits they consume at home, they made seed balls by turning the waste paper into pulp to place them in different parts of our campus. At the Germination Station, they planted seasonally-appropriate seeds using redesigned waste buttermilk containers. They designed various products with materials collected from nature at the Conversion & Production Station. With the orienteering activity, they followed the clues from the trees of the campus and tried to reach the phrase "Seeds must grow into trees and forests in my homeland".
We congratulate all our students who experienced the joy of spring and took part in the activities with curiosity.
