Okçular Foundation Visit

Grade 6 students visited the Okçular Foundation (Archers Foundation) for an immersive experience that connected them with traditional sports and cultural heritage. Guided by experts, students learned about the historical journey of archery and its significance in our culture. They then practiced shooting arrows with traditional bows, experiencing this ancient tradition firsthand.
Through these activities, students discovered that archery is not only a sport but also a discipline requiring focus, patience, and self-control. The visit enhanced historical awareness while supporting the development of hand-eye coordination, attention, and self-regulation skills, reinforcing learning through observation and practice.
