Students Listened the Mevlevi Order Experts
Our students met with the artists of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism within the scope of the Mevlana week.
To this end, we organized an online program due to the pandemic in the 747th year of Seb-i Arus, with the participation of the artists of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Yüce Gümüş, Abdurrahman Tevruz and Mithat Özçakıl. In the program, we discussed the Mevlevi Order, the meaning of the Mevlevi clothing, and whirling dervishes. We focused on the ancient elements of our civilization. Yüce Gümüş informed us about the Mevlevi rituals, which is one of the greatest and artistic forms of Turkish music and stated that the Mevlevihanes had an important place in musical education and that they were music schools of the period.
