23 April Celebrations at NÛN Schools
National Sovereignty and Children’s Day (23 April) was celebrated throughout the week under the theme “Children at the Heart of Education.”
The week began with a charity bazaar organized by the School Council, where products prepared by parents were sold and proceeds donated to Palestine through the Turkish Red Crescent.
In the following days, international students and teachers set up cultural stations, allowing students to explore different cultures using specially prepared “passports.”
Midweek, the NUN Radio program featured a speech by the school president and poetry recitals. Following the official ceremony, the week concluded with physical activity tracks organized by Physical Education teachers, with enthusiastic student participation.
These activities, shaped by active student involvement, highlighted values such as sharing, unity, and cultural awareness, creating a meaningful atmosphere of enthusiasm and solidarity across the school community.
