Laylat al-Miraj Celebration
The event of Miraj is a miraculous reflection of Almighty Allah's (swt) infinite might and mercy to the believers. It is a door to solace and peacefulness in front of Prophet Muhammad and the Muslims. This miracle, full of wisdom and truth, is a symbolic representation telling Muslims that spiritual development is possible to get closer to Allah.
In order to get together for this blessed night together, we invited our parents to the Laylat al-Miraj program, which was prepared with the contributions of our students on Wednesday, February 7. Together, we audience the choir recital of our primary school students, the theatre performance of our middle school students, and the poetry and hymn recitals of our high school students. The program closed with the remarks of the Advisory to the NÛN High School Religious Studies Department on the significance and importance of Laylat al-Miraj.
This event was an opportunity for our students to learn by experiencing religious and cultural values and to feel and share the spiritual atmosphere of Laylat al-Miraj together.
