Mınıaturk Trıp

Our trip supports our students' learning about the 6th grade mathematics sub-learning areas of proportion, geometry and measurement. It also gained a transdisciplinary perspective by including some of the achievements for English, Design and Turkish courses.
Our students visited sanctuaries of different religions, all located in Istanbul: Süleymaniye Mosque, St. Anthony's Church and Ahrida Synagogue. They compared the structures in terms of their similar and different geometric shapes and architecture; Interpreted them in the context of latitude, which is one of the 6 NUN values. They expressed their thoughts about the 12 historical foreign monuments located in Miniaturk within the framework of intercultural understanding.
